We are sorry to hear that John Nicoll has died. We are still engaged in converting his collection of negatives into higher resolution images and will add them to the Low Moor Local History Group website in due course.
John will long be remembered for his contribution in collecting together photographs and memorabilia for Low Moor and especially the Storr Hill and Carr Lane area.
He will be sadly missed.

If you didn't manage to get to the Map and Archive Day, then you missed a great opportunity. There's something facinating about maps as most visitors agreed.
Whilst everyone else was launching rockets on November 5th we were officially launching the website.
Ken our webmaster has done a great job getting the site off the ground. Over the next few months expect to see the images transferred from the old John Nicoll site as well as lots of new material.
